Instant Locs?

I stumbled upon this video sometime last week and have watched it at least 50 million times since. This man has a method that basically creates locs that instantly look mature without extensions and without going through that "ugly phase" in just a matter of hours. He explains everything in detail as he goes and I'm just flat out impressed by his technique. My only concern is damage once he starts creating said loc. Watch for yourself. and see what I mean

Red to Blues

I keep lying to myself saying I'm not going to dye my hair but when I get bored with twist outs and wash and go's, the first thing I turn to is color. Before,my hair was burgundy for the summer. I used L'oreal Hi-color Highlights permanent dye with a 30 developer, fast forward about.....3-4 months later, I wanted something drastically different. With that said...

Just Let It Grow

Left taken a month ago, right around Christmas
I've been dying, frying, and more. I've been natural a little over three years now. Chopped once to start and another time to get rid of heat damage. In addition, my hair has literally been every color of the rainbow to include blue, purple, red, maybe even a step under blonde or so. Last year I decided against heat. I made it until winter which wasn't bad. this year, I decided not to dye. I haven't seen my natural hair color since I was probably 18 (I'm 25 now) so its time to get back to it.

Product Review: Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick

Camera with flash
Natural Light

So I received this awesome lippie courtesy of Influenster yesterday and I love just about everything about it. If you didn't know, I'm slowly turning into a lipstick junkie but on a budget. Drugstore baller here baby!!
Anyway, the name of the color I received is called "As You Want Victoria"by Rimmel London and it's a beautiful pink with a blue base and with ONE swipe, I fell in love!!!! The color payoff is basically everything I want in a lipstick. No going over a thousand times to get the color, no adding a primer or powder to get it, just swipe and go. One thing I was surprised about is that I didn't need a lip balm under it. Some lipsticks tend to dry my lips out or be too glossy that it doesn't stay on. This was perfectly in the middle for me. As far as a downside, I would say the taste. To clarify, I lick my lips often so the taste could be a bit better. Other than that, even the longevity is awesome!

The lipstick retails anywhere between $5 to $7 so this won't break my budget since I decided to pick up more. Oh and my hair? More about that later

Giveaway: Turbie Twist [CLOSED]

Y'all....its cold. Like COLD, cold. Once it gets cold, I don't want to do much with my hair. Especially wash and air dry because ITS COLD. I don't have time for that. I do, however, am in the process of trying to cut back on the amount of blow drying I do just for my own personal reasons. Enter the Turbie Twist. Instead of sitting there with a towel or rubbing it, causing frizz, or trying to find an old shirt, I just use my Turbie Twist and it just soaks up the excess water without disturbing my hair. I just relax after a wash and let my hair dry a bit then get to styling.
Since I love mine so much, I KNEW you some of you would too and luckily I have 3 to give away!!!!! Entry is easy peasy, just comment below on how you're retaining moisture in your hair this winter along with your email address and 3 people will be picked via
Winners will be chosen tomorrow night at 12pm EST and notified by 5PM EST
